Get Themes for Google Chrome

Since Google launched its web browser “Google Chrome”, I bet it was a nightmare for more than one not to be able to change its theme, just like it is possible with Mozilla Firefox. Some persons refer to themes as “user interface design” or simply the “look” of the browser.

Fortunately, since August 5 2009, it is very possible to change your Chrome browser’s theme by going to the Google Chrome Themes Gallery online and install the one which pleases you or the one which looks like you. However, you need to be running the Google Chrome 3.0 beta for Windows.

How to set the theme of your choice include.

Option 1:
  1. Go to Google Chrome Themes Gallery
  2. click on the theme of your choice
  3. If you are using Google Chrome browser, the theme will be installed as soon as it is downloaded.
Option 2:
  1. Go to your browser’s options
  2. Display the “Personal Stuff” tab
  3. Click on “Get themes” buttons
  4. Choose your theme and click on to install.

The time to install a theme will depend on the size of the background image downloaded alongside the selected theme, and contrary to Mozilla Firefox whose themes gallery contains 20,000 themes; the Google Chrome Themes gallery contains 29. The big question is whether professional and amateur user interface designers will contribute to augment the Chrome browser’s gallery.
